How To Remove Email From Windows 10 User Account

The reason why y'all are non able to remove the email account in the app is that you lot are currently signed in to a Microsoft Account, You need to sign-in back to a local account in order to remove the electronic mail account in the 'Mail service' app.

I switched to a local account and I STILL cannot remove the old and expressionless email business relationship. When I go to Email & Accounts", click "Manage" (every bit at that place is NO remove option), information technology takes me to a Microsoft web folio...
This should be simple. A delete push button that only works. Not some complicated process that some idiot designed.

This should exist simple. A delete button that just works. Not some complicated procedure that some idiot designed.
I tried settings -> Access work or School -> that shows connect option with existing configured emails. On click on electronic mail account in that location is a Disconnect push that solved the problem.
Please try it... in my instance it worked.

This should be unproblematic. A delete button that just works. Non some complicated process that some idiot designed.
I tried settings -> Access work or Schoolhouse -> that shows connect option with existing configured emails. On click on electronic mail business relationship at that place is a Disconnect button that solved the problem.
Please endeavor information technology... in my case it worked.
I don't take the offending business relationship linked to electronic mail so this does not work for me.
This was a rogue Skype logon that has effectively hijacked the business relationship bindings.
(Malware much, folks?)
I did not use this account to fix the PC, and I do not desire the other account ?
Basically there are two solutions.
i. Pull the deejay and re-install from scratch (Nuke from orbit).
2. Migrate to an Android device, or something else that is less problem.

- Click Settings > Accounts > Access work or school
- Click the account you want to remove
- Click Disconnect

All very well, only i would propose that the people finding "this" every bit a "solution" practise not really accept the problem. What if it is not a piece of work or a school business relationship only simply someone else'due south Skype logon ? We really need a fix for this that does non involve reinstallling the operating system, which is the current workaround.
