About

Rollform is a software package developed to help designers create product profiles and rollsets (custom rollform tooling) for rollforming machinery. Rollform models the design process, taking the user through the process step by step, allowing the user to make the required design decisions in a logical and sensible way. It handles all of the complex calculations required to validate these design decisions.

Rollform is created by designers of rollformed sections and rollforming machinery, for designers of rollformed sections and rollforming machinery. Rollform is the result of over 40 years experience in rollform section design, and has been in use in rollforming production environments since 1989.

Rollform reduces the cost of section and tooling design, by eliminating the tedious and repetitive tasks facing a design engineer and performing automatic checks on the design, which reduces design time and design errors, both of which are potentially very expensive. Rollform is user friendly and flexible for designers, while maintaining a robust design process model.

History

1989: Originally developed as a private software for a rollform tooling designer in New Zealand, the software ran on dos based Intel PCs.
1995: The software was redeveloped, both to increase the functionality, and to run under windows.
1997: We decided to make this package available to the public, and a substantial re-engineering process began, in order to improve the stability and robustness of the software. The software has now matured into a robust and stable product, and this version, the result of all of our efforts, is available to you today.
2015: We improved the registration system to make it easier to run the program.

Sales

Rollform is available to customers worldwide. You can purchase a license by contacting us using the registration form below.

Viewer

When unregistered, Rollform will run as a viewer, and also allow the user to create a limited profile, in order to demonstrate the functionality. The viewer feature is useful for allowing customers who don't have licensed copies to view and print designs.

When registered, Rollform will allow creation of new projects.

Note that Chrome may display a message about this file being potentially being dangerous (it did for me when I tested the download :). It's because it doesn't get downloaded a lot relative to some pieces of software. The software is not dangerous!
Also, we've misplaced the license key for the self extracting zip file, so at the start of the install it now displays a message about it not being registered, and something exciting about US law. You can safely ignore it.
